Children can face difficult times in their lives, just like adults. Every child is unique, having different factors contributing to their issues, emotions or behaviours.
If your child is confronting with: depression, anxiety, anger, self harm, low self esteem, trauma or grief, divorce or separation in family, communication issues, is socially excluded, sleep issues, diet changes or wetting the bed, then it is time to search professional help.
During child therapy, there is a possibility for me to talk with family members, to determine root of the problem, and create a safe place for the child to feel listened and understood.
Depending on the child's age, I will use techniques from cognitive behaviour therapy, play therapy, drawing therapy, family therapy and/or parenting.
